Acme Bread
Remember how much time you spent proving loaves in the 2020 sourdough epoch? Thankfully that’s over, but it’s left us with a strong appreciation for excellent bread.
Similar in many ways to making good coffee, bread is notoriously finicky to make. It takes time, quality ingredients, skill and patience. And in our case, some excellent machinery that does the work of many arms.
Acme Bread is the daily creation of something fairly challenging, made to look effortless. Definitely one of life’s small joys, done well.
The range can be purchased at Prefab Cafe, Moore Wilsons and ordered in advance for public/private events. Wholesale orders are available for restaurants and resellers.
Acme Bread Revival
For perfectly fresh bread, the next day.
Set your oven to 200c.
Sprinkle cold water over the bread (do not soak) and shake off any excess.
Bake for 10 minutes and voilà! Fresh bread.
